The 900 Series Single-Hung Window pairs classic style with energy-efficient, low-maintenance vinyl. The upper pane is fixed. The bottom sash slides up and tilts in, so cleaning and ventilation stay simple. A brickmold exterior detail and low-profile sashes give it a clean, finished look, suitable for commercial or residential applications.
The vinyl resists fading and will not chip or peel. Standard features include Cardinal 270 LoE glass and a Duraseal® warm-edge spacer, block and tackle balance, composite hardware, double locks and half screen, for reliable insulated glass performance. The 900 Series works for both new construction with a nail fin and j-channel or for replacement projects where a box unit is needed. The 2 7/8″ jam makes this window an excellent option to replace old metal windows in homes, apartments, or hotels.

Fusion-welded frame and sash
Corners are welded shut, not screwed. No rot, no rust, no warping. Featuring Chelsea Building Products Rigid PVC Extrusions.
Cardinal 270 LoE insulated glass package
A 3/4 inch dual-pane unit with Cardinal's LoE coating built in. It blocks heat and UV rays while keeping natural light coming through. Argon gas fill is available. Cardinal 366 LoE - optional
Duraseal warm edge spacer
Runs around the inside edge of the glass unit. Keeps the glass edge warmer, cuts down on condensation, and helps the seal last.
Dual weatherstripping
Sealed on the sash to keep out air, water, and dirt.
Tilt-in bottom sash
The bottom sash opens upward and tilts inward. Clean the outside glass from inside your home, no ladder needed. The top sash is fixed, creating a picture window appearance with a larger glass area.
BSI inverted balance system
Holds the bottom sash at any height. No slamming, no sticking, no fighting the window to stay open.
Integral sash interlocks
Locks built into the sash. Units 28 inches or wider get double locks for a tighter closure.

A solid all-around glass for Georgia's climate. Blocks summer heat and UV rays while keeping good natural light coming through. Works well for most homes and most window orientations.

Three layers of coating instead of two. Blocks more solar heat and up to 95% of the UV rays that fade furniture and flooring. A good choice for south-or west-facing windows. Clear view, no tinting.

Argon gas fill is available on both options. Argon is a heavier gas than air and slows heat transfer between the two panes, improving insulation.
The spacer, sealant, and desiccant come as one unit. The desiccant keeps moisture out of the space between the panes. The sealant keeps argon gas in.
Breaks the cold transfer path at the edge of the glass. Warmer edges mean less condensation and a more comfortable room near the window.
Reduces stress on the edge seal caused by temperature swings. A longer-lasting seal means the glass stays clear and the insulating gas stays in.
